This article focuses on mechanisms that the Federal government of Russia employs to manage companies with State ownership. The following procedures are considered: appointment of representatives of the State to boards of directors, trust agreements, and transfer of shares to state-controlled holding companies. Authors provide the analysis of prospective advantages and disadvantages of the described mechanisms.
