Barcan D. I., Kiryukov S. I. Consulting Business in Russia: Traditions, Problems of Development, Cultural Aspect

This article deals with the development of Russian consulting business in the context of three major aspects: traditions and historical trends, problems of management consulting business formation and Russian mentality impact. Authors reveal and compare consulting business in market economy with consulting experience in Russia during 1970–80s. The practical experience and problems in Russian consulting business are systematized. The influence of Russian mentality on the possibilities of transfer of global consulting experience to Russia is analyzed.
