This article presents the current state with an informatization in Saint-Petersburg State University. The inspection results of this state are cited. This situation is not satisfied to the present time requirements. The informatization of such complete distributed system as University is the complex problem including a large number of organizational, methodological, technological and scientific problems. The key theses and principles, which are needed for successful Saint-Petersburg State University executive system creation and evolution are formulated.
