In the article the main aspects of the business-process approach are presented and different points of view on the problem are discussed. Theoretical conclusions are illustrated by example of business-process approach implementation by «Lubimi Krai» company. Implementation was supported by «OBP — Optimization of Business Process» project supported by School of Management in 2005–2006.
