Cherenkov V. I., Tolstobrov M. G. Global Innovation Transfer as a Internationalizing Tool for Russian Small Hi-Tech Business

Some theoretical and practical issues on hi-tech internationalizing are considered in the present paper. Marketing definitions of «hi-tech» and «innovation» are formulated and the link between them is precised. Model of global innovation transfer (GTI) is presented. Case of GTI model application for searching «entry point» into the world hi-tech market for Russian hi-tech small R&D enterprise (HTSR&DE) is commented. Holistic GIT model is presented and analyzed from the point of view of HTSR&DE’s management. Pulse Systems, Ltd. (Saint-Petersburg) capabilities and ways to be involved into the GIT network are estimated.
