Problems and Trends in Development of the Corporate Philanthropy in Russia (on the Case of the Northern-Western Region) Nowadays the corporate philanthropy is more regarded as the social investment in the steady corporate development on the market. However, in some Russian regions the charitable activity doesn’t always give the positive results, on the contrary it sometimes influences negatively on the business development. One of the examples is the Northern-Western region. The purpose of the article is to assess the development level of the Russian corporate philanthropy and the influencing factors (on the example of the Northern-Western region). This article includes the problems of the regional philanthropy development, which determines the low level of the corporate philanthropy. The attention is paid to the philanthropy trends and how to improve the state policy in philanthropy with the use of the foreign experience. |
