International Hotel Networks: Preconditions of Organizational Form and Basic Business Models The article explores the preconditions of networking in international hotel business. On the base of the analysis of hotel industry specificity and the peculiarities of a hotel product, in the light of the network concept of strategic management theory, the author provides some explanations of the basic motives standing behind networking of 4*–5* hotels. Based on the series of interviews with the general managers and specialists of some international hotel networks the basic business models of strategic development have been developed and the analytical approach towards the definition of network boundaries has been suggested. << Contents: Issue 3, 2007 ![]() |
