This article concerns the main issues connected with the organization of firm’s credit policy which is a very important instrument for managing receivables. Basic attention is given to the managerial decision of credit policy changing which represents itself one of the pivotal problems for firms in this field. In this paper we offer the modification of today’s broadly used mathematical model which this decision is based on. This modification enables an organization to substantially lower the level of risk connected with this decision.
