Verkhovskaya O. R., Dorokhina M. V. Entrepreneurial Research in Russia: Main Results of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2006–2007

The article considers the methodological aspects of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, GEM. It is dedicated to analysis of entrepreneurial activity in the countries participating in GEM project and determination of the entrepreneurial character, including motives, innovativeness, export orientation, growth expectations. The authors give the description of the entrepreneurial climate in Russia and portrait the Russian early-stage and established entrepreneurs. Empirical base of the analysis is the data of the adult population survey in the countries participating in GEM project in 2006–2007.
