Issue 1, 2010Panibratov A. Yu. Internationalization Strategies of Construction Companies: Preconditions, Orientation and Prospects. The foreign market entry decisions as the major problem and the important aspect of the construction companies’ internationalization are considered in the article. On the basis of the empirical evidence of Russian and foreign companies the prospects of Russian construction firms international expansion are analyzed. Despite the variety of preconditions of Russian construction companies’internationalization exist, the most important of them are the strong focus on the marketing and the tendency to maximize the share of the market. As to the success factors of foreign firms in Russia, they are mostly related to the quality of production, aggressive marketing activity, and the partnerships.
