Using Elements of the Stakeholders Theory in the Management The article describes the management process in public hospitals from the stakeholders' point of view who are able to influence it. The interests of different stakeholder groups are thoroughly analyzed in the article as well as the means by which it is expressed and the measure of their influence on the typical public hospital management process. The latter is described in the practical part of the research — a survey of the Russian public health system experts. The result of the research is the statement that describes the present situation in the Russian public health system as the one in which only the stakeholders' interests who exercise the governmental control and are capable to use administrative and economic penalties are taken into account in the management process of public hospitals. << Contents: Issue 1, 2006 ![]() |
