Loukashevich V. V. The Fifth Enlargement of the European Union as the Challenge for the Business in Russia

The article deals with the most important proсesses that have defined the contents and the future development of the recent fifth enlargement of the European Union. An attempt is undertaken by the author to characterize the factors that have defined the historical conditions, tempo and the peculiarities of the fifth enlargement process and also to express a number of suppositions, concerning the current and future impact of these factors on the environment of the Russian business.
