To the Discussion of the Essence of Dynamic Capabilities Dynamic capabilities concept, developed within strategic management theory, discusses how organizations can achieve and sustain the competitive advantage in the continuously changing environment. Despite vast development of this concept, some issues still need further elaboration. Among them is the question about the origins of the dynamism of these capabilities. In this paper we aim to address this issue. As a result of the examination of dynamic capabilities concept in the light of change management theory, the concept of «organizational change capability» as a constituent of any dynamic capability is introduced. << Contents: Issue 4, 2006 ![]() |
