Issue 2, 2010Shatalov A. I. The Interrelation between the Business Model and the Firm Performance (Based on the Russian Companies of the Food Service Industry). This paper is dedicated to the research of the interrelation between the business- model and firm performance. The analysis of the evolution of the business-model concept and definition is presented in the article. The empirical survey based on the materials of the food service industry allows the author to distinguish the business-models used by the companies from this market and find the interrelation between the characteristics of the business-model and the organizational performance.
